MBA Distance Learning IGNOU

MBA distance learning course guidelines

MBA distance learning from IGNOU is probably the most popular course of this university. It comprises total of 21 courses which when completed grants the student a degree in MBA. This includes all the courses from Post Graduate Diploma in Management, compulsory courses, elective courses, five courses from any of the specialisation streams and a project course which is equivalent to two courses.

Eligibility for admission in MBA distance learning IGNOU

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience or a professional degree such as engineering, medicine, technology, law, architecture or pharmacy. A student with professional qualifications such as cost and works accountancy, company secretary ship or any other in accountancy is also eligible for the MBA distance learning course from IGNOU. A candidate with master’s degree in any discipline too is eligible to appear for OPENMAT. For students residing outside India, they must have a valid visa for the minimum duration of the program.

IGNOU MBA Entrance tests

As mentioned above twice a year OPENMAT is conducted for students wanting to get themselves enrolled in the MBA program from IGNOU, the application forms are available from IGNOU’s New Delhi centre. For students outside New Delhi the forms are available in the regional centres, IGNOUARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised centres and/or study centres of IGNOU. IGNOU MBA fee structure

The course fee of MBA is to be paid at the time of admission which is Rs 800 per course. This includes the cost of study material, counselling and examination fee also.

IGNOU MBA OPENMAT examination pattern

OPENMAT is a three hour examination containing 200 multiple choice questions in the following sections:

30 questions- Reasoning

50 questions- English language

50 questions- Quantitative aptitude

70 questions- General Awareness
